I lived at Adelaide Gardens for 1 year. At the time my lease was up I got the hell out of there. Not only were the landlords rude and not helpful they also tried to screw me in the end.

I will list all the things that I found wrong with this place, you can make up your own mind.

-Kitchen was totally infested with carpenter ants. I had to buy multiple products to kill them. I finally located the nest and had a horrible time killing each one. Never reimbursed by the landlord.

-Hot water heater is shared by everyone in your building, so get ready for the most miserable shower of your life.

-Parking sucks. People block you in. During the snow they plow your car in and you have to dig yourself out from 8 ft of snow. No joke, ask anyone that lives there. Parking is a major pain.

- Landlord does not care at all about you. They work minimally. They also threaten to keep your security or atleast parts of it!

- If you live on the bottom floor you are basically screwed. The rooms above you are so loud that it almost at times shakes the apartment. This is not only my experience, but my neighbors as well.

- They are poorly organized. When I first looked at the place they told me it was one price and then jacked the price up 20 bucks on the lease. I argued it, but then had it taken out of my security at the end...because they place was dirty.

- It is way after the day I was suppose to recieve my security and they haven't gotten to it yet.

- They never answer the phone. The fire alarm was going off one night for an hour and everyone in our building called and they didn't respond. That's safe.

- There is one washer and one dryer for about 5 buildings. The room is "filthy", which is a total understatement. The washer and dryer hardly ever works. There were times I would go to pick up my laundry and the washer had stopped and my clothes were just sitting in soapy water. Call the landlord for help...doesn't get fixed for over 2 or 3 weeks.

- They control the heat. So in the winter expect to wear mulitple layers.

It's in an ideal location. It's close to New Brunswick and is in a great city, Highland Park. But honestly, try and stay away from this place. I know many people that are very unhappy there and are sick of being screwed over time and time again...don't be one of those people. AD2Hw9Wn8Umb3NN1w1jt
