My wife and I really enjoyed living at the Highland Montgomery. We moved because we wanted to be closer to the city but had very few complaints about the apartment itself. First, I'm a little surprised to hear that the "fixtures" and the "building" are falling apart; maybe that's an old review, our apartment was brand new on the inside (from the fixtures to the floor). Second, the maintenance staff is great. Third, within Highland Park or to New Brunswick, this is a perfect location. The only complaints we had were that the walls were a little thin. You can hear what your neighbors are doing pretty clearly.

Otherwise, though, this is a great place, both within the apartment and from the apartment staff.
