Hi
I moved in Orchid Gardens in June of 05. I got a completely renovated apartment and was very nice. Everything was new... and beautiful. The place is very quiet and hardly hear anything.

Maintenance:
This sucks!! my door bell has not worked since 12th December and today its 16th January. They replaced it with a wireless bell on 22nd December but that only worked for few hours. So now i get my UPS and FedEx deliveries on 3rd attempts even when i am home during the day.

Heat:
OH mh GOD! Ok this winter isn't too bad but on a cold day like today where the outside temperature is 25F my home is at 62F. There is no way to control heat and it shuts off at night. I have complained and complained... but nothing can be done. There is no control in apartments so you are on their mercy. I have been told that some apartments have a thermostat... but i have not seen one. Also what good is the thermostat if they control the ON and OFF.

Laundry:
There are a couple of laundry room in this complex. The one closest to me is very filthy. There is no working sink and when it rains the whole places is flooded.

Clean:
This place is NOT clean. Buildings are pretty filthy inside since no one cleans the buildings. Even the outside of some apartments are pretty filthy with leaves all over the place.

Parking:
Very limited!! too many cars around this place.

Over all this is a ok place if you can deal with the problems above. I am looking to move out because me and my wife are thinking of starting a family and i don't think i want to put my newborn through a winter in this place.
