My boyfriend and I have lived on the property for over 3 years and would like to suggest two things. The first is that you rent an apartment here and the second is that you tell your friends. Reason being: They are offering brand new apartments (never been lived in) and will be offering this probably for the next year at a fairly cheap rental rate compared to most. We actually just upgraded from our original 1 bedroom to a renovated two bedroom. I happened to be surfing the web and came across this site. Most of the people on here giving horrible assessments about apartments seem to be miserable in life. The apartments are the nicest in the area considering Hillsborough is an old town and most of the apartments in the area, are old. The apartments here are brand new. The electric isn't included in the rental rate. But common sense tells you, not to leave the heat blasting on 80 degrees all night long. Believe me, I've talked to some neighbors who do. In the summer we pay approximately $70 a month and in the winter approximately $150. The elevators hardly break down and if they do, there are two per building. The broken elevator is usually back up and running within hours. Plus, they are being replaced by brand new ones within a few months anyway. Who should rent an apartment here': someone who appreciates new appliances, beautiful views, abundant parking spaces, peace and quiet, and something different than the typical central New Jersey garden style apartment with noisy neighbors above walking on hardwood floors. Who should not rent an apartment here': Someone who typically doesnt socialize, and has to write their feelings rather than simply expressing them. If someone chose to move out now, they probably have no idea what plans are in the works within the next six months to a year. When we transferred to our new apartment, we felt like we purchased a new condo or something. What is there to complain about'!
