Claremont Towers has had a bad rep in the past and has been taken over by new management. The front office is run by a cold unfriendly woman who would rather not help you, care for your concerns or take any issues about the apartments seriously. Theft occurs in the hall ways, the security doors occasionally don't lock, leaving access readily available to anyone who can pull open a door.

The windows are generally crappy, terrible drafts of cold air cause the heat to stay on almost continuously. The large open gaps between the window frame and the screens allow bugs to sneak in. (Particularly stink bugs) There is no insulation in the walls and everything is electric so prepare for ridiculous electric bills. Also the exterior of the balconies are harsh to look at and anything hanging off the sides (plants, lights etc) become covered with a white film from the calcification drippings from the concrete ceilings.

The elevators need serious renovation. It's frightening to ride them up and down as they scrape against the walls and bang around. Many of the floor level indicators do not light, causing for mysterious waiting times, as you do not know where the elevator is or where its coming from. There are also only 3 washer and dryers to a building so forget about doing your laundry after 5pm.

The renovated apartments claim to be luxurious but are far from it. From cheap light fixtures & cheap counter tops to the rough rugs & poor spackle on the walls, there are many better places to live for less money. The apartments seem to be filling quickly with undesirables, leaving a potent stink in the hallways. Proceed with caution!

We are currently renting....i can't wait to get out of there....worst place to rent....I agree.....if possible i would have 0 rating for them
