I've been living here nearly 18 months and although the management does suck, I have only needed there services once - which may say something about the quality of appliances. However, you'll only get about 30 minutes of hot water and you'll wait another 30 for more.
-The 12ft ceilings on the 1st floor are awesome, but it tends to be bit a cool during winter (bills exceed $200).
-The lighting fixtures, exposed ventilation, and 3 ceiling fans (1 in each bedroom and 1 in living room) are cool amenities that provide some personality. However, the walls are paper thin and I routinely awake to my neighbors alarm.
-Laundry servcies are terrible.
-Although they provide a parking lot for a fee, parking on the street is the best in town.
-The views stink in this part of town.
-It's far from the center of town, but it never bothered me - $3 cab rides anywhere.
-The building is generally quite and people keep to themselves.
-If you rent an apartment facing Jefferson street you'll hear sounds reminiscent of a NASCAR speedway. Jeffeson St seems to be the "go to" route for all police cars and fire engines, but I haven't experienced any crime against my property.
-Overall it's a decent place, but look around before you rent.
