Stay far, far away

Do not rent here. Our rent has increased 41% in less than three years. This is NOT a luxury bulding, as they claim. Inside, there are cheap appliances, linoleum kitchen floors (not real tile) industrial carpets, plastic cabinetry, thin walls, shallow closets with cheap fixtures, bad plumbing, inefficient air/heat (which means high bills), the fire alarms go off all the time and the elevetors are constantly broken. They have constant sewage and water problems, you always need a maintance person to come TWICE to fix something and there's never anything given in return for all of the problems.
Management is not easy to deal with, there is no negotiating with rent increases. They price apartments like airline seats which means an apartment can go for one price one moment then increase hundreds of dollars only a few hours later based on demand. They also force out long-term tenants so they can jack up prices even higher. They were happy that we turned down the latest 11% increase because they now have our apartment on the market for hundreds ABOVE that crazy price. Don't get hooked in because you won't be able to afford to stay past a year. It's not even worth it.
