The builder had the bright idea to save space by building these apartments in a "C" shape so as to wrap around. Unfortunately the building is made of brick. When you combine the noise from the drunks walking by on the street in th emiddle of the night, the children screaming in the courtyard, the "c" wrap-around shape, and the use of bricks which naturally keep the sound in, you get the loudest building the world to live in. Everything is amplified 100x!
