Horrible Management!!!! BE VERY CAREFUL RENTING

I have had several encounters with the office management with whom are absolutely, postively evil people. For instance:
I once wrote a check for the correct monthly amount. They misread the check and underdrew the check for $50 (it was a pretty obvious mistake- which they admitted to not reading the check correctly) however they then billed by !$500! in 'late' fees. To finally get them to understand their errors took 5 office vists and at least 5 phone calls to explain over and over why they are wrong.
Secondly they are simply miserable, unfriendly and unsympathic people. Specifically Anne Schediack is a very difficult to deal with. During the time my father was dying of cancer my lease was set to renewal consideration (which is 90 days before the lease expiry.) She simply wouldn't give me a couple of weeks to deal with my family situation first then consider my lease obligations. She told me that this was my problem and i had to make a decsion right now.
Bottom line these are people I would not do business with at all.

I agree with everyone's comments about the management office. Anne is a nasty, nasty woman. Audrey, the manager is very nice but you can't always reach her. That said, I do love the complex. I never, never hear my neighbors which is so important to me. I've moved out of other apts. after 3 months because of the noise. The door-people are all very nice. The garage is a nightmare, over priced and they are as nasty as can be. When there is a problem, nobody wants to hear about it. I've been here 3 years and I'm moving in April. Overall, I'm really going to miss it here. |

I have dealt with Anne on many occassions and she has always been helpful. She has helped me with parking and with my lease. Maybe you were nasty to her and she responded back the same way? During my conversations with her I know she has worked at other properties so obviously she is doing a good job. I agree with never hearing my neighbors except for the occassional holiday party. I agree that the garage is managed by a nasty company and half of them don't speak English so they don't understand you when you ask a question. Audrey has never returned any of my phone calls so yes she is hard to reach.

Yep Annie is an absolute nasty piece of work. We've just moved into The Shipyard and are finding the management office very hard work. Audrey is completely useless - has no idea what's going on...!
