For the money, you can get a better deal elsewhere. We had a one bedroom that was pretty basic and have moved to a beautiful 2 bed 2 bath on the hudson river just a mile away for less money. The ferry doesn't run on the weekends anymore at Hoboken, so bear that in mind. However, we had no problem getting our deposit back. Fair is fair - we left the apartment clean and undamaged. I had read the previous review and actually put the Shipyard on notice before we left because I was concerned they would try to keep our deposit. We did not need to because the guy who did the final inspection signed off on the apartment and said it was in great shape. Renter have to realize that they can't damage stuff and not expect to pay.

A comment on the ferry; I just looked at NY Waterway website and it shows ferries running on weekends to mid-town.

Grandview at Port Imperial - lovely 2 bed/2bath 1280 sq. ft. - parking and gym included in price of $2700 p/m. River walk, ferry and bus nearby and great A&P next door. Much better than Kings in Hoboken. Prices are even better now. There are apartments available at the Hudson Club also. It's a new condo building and is offering rentals also cos they can't sell. Hope this helps.
