Overall - the place is fine if you need the convenience of living here. I don't think there's really a better building right now in Jersey City. However, you get, or don't get, what you pay for -
The Good
Door staff are the best
On-site parking in a garage: you have to pay, but it's cheaper than other places I've been
Views: great views of Liberty Park
No bugs
Path is on the same block - Grove Street
The Bad:
They will raise your rent after the first year, despite the economy going down
The fixtures are cheap, the place was put together crappy
No garbage disposal - what "modern luxury" apartment doesn't have a garbage disposal?!
Window screens: you will have to have them removed - period.
Heat - you will be cold in the winter. Buy an electric blanket and long underwear if you're living here.
