Everything you have read in the posts preceeding this one re: high utilities, rude mgmt services, freezing temps, fire alarms, banging window screens, water pressure problems, long elevator wait times, etc are all true. Way way overpriced at 2335 for a one bedroom on the 17th floor with only partial views of midtown. The good includes the club h membership and location. I disagree with the former post re: the amenity space. I have been the only one there on most occasssions Im down there.

I'm beginning to wonder who is writing these reviews, cause they are a little off base. Probable being written by someone at GrovePoint. 1) Management is not rude. 2) My apt is pretty warm. It can get a little chilly in the living room, but the bedroom stays cozy with the heat on. I get lots of sunlight so that adds heat in the morning. With oversized windows and high ceilings, things are gonna get a little chilly. 3) Have not heard any fire alarms in quite a while 4) Have not had any banging window screens...actually don't even have window screens so what are you talking about? 5) Water pressure is just fine, and the hot water is pretty consistent 6) The elevator is super fast, there are 4 of them, I've hardly ever had to wait more than 15 seconds...the longest wait ever may have been a minute. The only thing I will admit is that it is overpriced, but there are only a limited # of buildings that can offer what this building can - pricing pressure will increase once 77 Hudsons rental building opens in the summer.

It seems like mgmt came on to dispute all negative reviews. However, if it was mgmt, they would realize that 50 Columbus is owned by the SAME PEOPLE as is Grovepoint!
