Poor management etiquette--and I don't even live there

The other night I was walking my dog through Avalon Cove Tower area from the riverwalk to Second street when I was harassed by the manager of the tower. She told me "This is private property" and that I didn't belong there. I pointed to the riverwalk and said "that is public property." She didn't even ask me if I lived there until after the fact that I was appalled that she harassed me for walking my dog. What if I did live there--is that how you treat your tenants'!! This is not the first time I heard poor things about the management, but now I believe the rumors.
