We are in the process of renewing our lease. we received a letter at the end of January letting us know that our lease was going to expire at the beginning of April (pretty early considering what follows...). At the beginning of february we went to discuss several times renewal terms with leasing staff. They said that they would call us at first. After not hearing anything from them for 2 weeks, we went back to see them and asked when we would receive lease renewal papers for signature. They answered they would work on it. Still no sign from them after another 2 weeks. after encountering staff on the train, one day, we asked again. That was already a week ago and still no sign from them as of today March 9th.
The problem is when they tell us they will call us, they never do. When they tell us they are working on the release renewal, they don't. We wait and wait and wait and no word from them.
I feel the leasing staff cannot be trusted and is very unprofessional.
Before we stayed at Newport and the staff was a lot more competent, responsive and professional.
