A Great Place to Live in a Questionable Area

I had a very positive experience at Dixon Mills overall! Having lived there almost 3 years I would say I?m quite knowledgable about the quality of living. Yes, you need to find the right unit, if available. The location of the unit will depend on your happiness depending on the view, the floor, the neighbors.
Having lived on the 4th (top) floor we had a view of the Statue of Liberty. It doesn?t get much better than that. We had two parking spaces the whole time we were there, without too much trouble.
Yes, we had to wait a couple months for a choice spot, but we attained one quite quickly.
Yes, the neighbors can be noisy at times, but show me an apartment building without noisy neighbors!!!!!
The grounds are quite well taken care of as is the building. Step off the grounds and you can tell the difference.
Safety' You live in Jersey City. What do you want' It is practically as safe as any place in Manhattan.
Office staff is great, if you ask their names and treat them like human beings!!!! Yes, everyone in Jersey City has an attitude problem, but if you are friendly and considerate, the staff at Dixon Mills will return the courtesy.
Overall, I would recommend this building to anyone, pending they are able to rent a unit they are happy with from the get go. There are 400 apartments and 300 different styles of units. You don?t find that everywhere. It?s more affordable than most places and if you rent in the upper range, you?ll be more than satisfied, I?m certain.
