I LOVE DIXON MILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before I moved in I visited this message board and it made me very nervous about the complex. But after living in a studio in Dixon Mills for nine months now I wanted to get back on this board and let anyone who's thinking of moving here that it's GREAT!!! Of course living in a converted factory is cool... my apartment is very well insulated against sound and weather. My neighbors are all friendly and I've been invited to many get togethers since moving in (including a nice July 4th picnic on my neighbor's roof-deck... the only way to see the fireworks). My apartment is top notch. And the area is growing by leaps and bouds. New, cool restaurants are opening all the time plus there are very nice parks, farmers markets, pubs, shakespeare in the park, cafes, a used books store, poetry readings, great library nearby and a lot more. And the proximity to PATH and taxi stand makes it a very easy commute to mid-town manhattan. Moving to Dixon Mills was the best thing I've done for myself since moving to NYC 7 years ago. I hope to stay in the building for a long time.
