If you move into JC, you have to be VERY gullible or from somewhere south of the Mason Dixon not to realize it is not as safe as Hoboken or Weehawken. DM does have security guards,"probably more for show", but in either case it is a safer development than any of the surrounding area. That would include Henderson Park area. Waiting 4 months for parking is not a big deal, when in Hoboken you should expect to wait a minimum of 6 - 12, and pay $250 per month. The bus is a great resource that I use daily. The mgt are friendly, along with George the bus driver and most of the security staff. The walls are paper this. The maintenance staff is responsive and does an acceptable job. PEOPLE: THIS IS A JC APT COMPLEX (LUXURY--- I DONT THINK SO, BUT THEY ARE VERY NICE). If you want a very safe area, then move to hoboken and pay 1500/month for a 300 sq. ft. studio w/o parking, where the walls are probably just as thin, there is not central heat/air and the maintenance staff and security is non-existant. I would recommend this complex to someone who is aware of the surroundings, and has a bit of street smarts.
