I have to say that I think Dixon Mills is really turning around. We recently toured the model condos and they're really charming -- hardwood floors, nice kitchen appliances, high ceilings. From what we have seen to date, it's a really good value considering how prices in Jersey City have soared. My salesperson said the condos are selling fast and we are probably going to buy there. It's worth checking out.

I highly recommend that you hire a very good inspector before purchasing a unit at Dixon Mills. You will be extremely surprised with what your inspector may find and he probably would save you a few hundred thousands of dollars...
As someone else mentioned here... if you like stainless steel appliances... go to Best Buy... it's much cheaper...
The rennovation at Dixon Mills is nothing but cosmetic to flash your eyes. Once you move in you may not be happy to discover the additional residents that share your unit (mice) and you can hear running in the walls as well as hearing your neighbors and be heared by your neighbors.
Take it from someone who is living there.
