The good thing is there were very little roaches and no mice. Other than that this apartment was an utter nightmare. There is an odd thing in NJ were they call something a "condominium" when it was just a renovated apartment. This is not a condominium - this is cheap, patch-up renovations with the senseless label of condominium.

One major issue was the HEAT. Living in that apartment feel like i was living right under the hot Africa sun next to the equator. The heat was so intense and steaming that at one point i wrapped old denim JEANS around the pipes to somehow absorb the heat. Everything having to do with heat and hot water was a mess. The hot water only worked for a good thirty seconds so you had to rush in the shower and scrub as much as possible until the artic blast pounded on you.

Everything in the apartment broke...the bathroom door, the handles in the shower, the stove and let's not forget the FLOODING. Oh yes, you might as well call this apartment Noah's Arc because it would flood every time it rained--even though I was PROMISED everything was fixed to prevent flooding. This would mold the carpets and stink up the entire place. HELL!

The apartment was noisy as hell -- my neighbors decided to celebrate Cinco De Mayo everyday. I would complain and NO ONE would do anything.

The last issue was the BROTHEL HOUSE on the first floor right by the mailboxes. It was called "The Healing Center" but tenants appropriately titled it "Hooker Central". Tons of Asian prostitutes ran in and out of the place with the PIMP instructing everything. There were shoot outs, tentants being robbed and the buzzer ringing at all hours of the night by filthy men looking to be serviced. DISGUSTING! we signed petitions to get them out but it was told that they have been there for over ten years and they will probably be their longer than us--people even said the cops were in on it. Also, we had a delightful feature on Eye Witness with a reporter storming the pimp asking him why he was doing this. My stay in this apartment was a nightmare. I kept a journal but I ripped out all of the entries while I was living in hooker central. I was there a total of nine months and got out of my lease three months early because of the drama.
