Don't make the same mistake we (and hundreds of other residents) did!

We've lived here for more than a year and can objectively state that Liberty Towers is a 100% failed attempt at mimicing what one might find in a luxury apartment complex in Manhattan.
For starters, the building clearly was slapped together very quickly and cheaply, demonstrated by ultra-thin walls (practically can hear people whispering next door--no kidding!), chronically ineffective heat and A/C throughout the building, chronically unreliable elevators, consistently low hot-water pressure, poorly fitting doors/door frames, sloppy painting, etc.
But the punch line here truly is the management. They have an excuse for absolutely everything--they are either in complete denial or completely incompetent.
And the people staffing the front desk and the maintenance team are fairly useless (we laugh when we hear the leasing agents walking prospective tenants by the front desk talking about the "concierge" taking care of car or dinner reservations when they're not even aware of elevators not working or where all the package/grocery carts have gone!). The staff turnover also is very high so nobody below management appears to like working here, either.
Most tenants aren't much better as they show little respect for those trying to cope with the issues (like lack of sound insulation) and few seem to complain to management about anything. You're on your own.
Finally, there's construction on all sides of the building, and it usually starts BEFORE 7:00AM--even on weekends! Good luck trying to ignore it because it comes right through the substandard windows.
The only reason we're still here is that we're reluctant to move again so soon. But that day is fast approaching as we are now completely confident that this place is a lost cause.
