When we moved here from NYC, we were sucked in by the "luxury" amenities and the views from Liberty Towers. I should say suckered. While the views are nice and the gym is pretty good, most of the other amenities promised are either non-existent or a joke. When we were first shown the apartment, they were telling us about a driving range/putting green and a park that was being built. Neither have come to fruition. I can only assume that the park they were talking about is now where they are building "luxury condos" and if its the same construction that they used to build the apartments here, I warn you to stay away! The apartments are nice on the surface but you can tell this building was slapped together in a hurry. The walls are paper thin, we can hear our neighbors phone ringing and even the sound of their computer booting up! Doors are not hung properly, the heating/ac units leak and are insufficient. The kitchen faucet makes a loud banging noise when you turn it on. The heat/ac in the building itself is never working properly. The list goes on and on. And getting back to the amenities, they were telling us how the "concierge" can get us dinner reservations, theater tickets, etc. That sounds great, but they can't even keep the elevators running properly or open a door half the time, let alone take on something as complicated as a dinner reservation. I shouldn't lump them all together, there are a few that are nice and at least try, but most of them are lazy and incompetent. So, needless to say we have complained about a quite a few issues. But when you do, you mostly get defensive or dismissive answers when you call the management office. They are not helpful at all and are actually rude at times. I'm utterly dumbfounded when I read a good review of this building -- these are either people that work for the building or people that don't actually care about where they live. For us we'll be moving when our lease is up and we'll tell as many people as we can to avoid this building and to avoid any Bozzuto managed buildings!

Hallways on my floor are always adequately warm in the winter and cool in the summer. In fact, my gf got goosebumps one time last week (summer in June) waiting for the elevator because it was so cold in the hallway. Putting green? The thing I heard was the the city wouldn't give them a permit to install the putting green-understandable because the green, like the pool, is on the ninth floor rooftop and clueless golfers would have inevitably shot golf balls onto the street and hurt pedestrians. Walls are indeed thin, but if you request it from the leasing office, you can have sound insulation pumped into the walls. Yes, they should have done that from the get-go, but hey, they're trying. And dinner reservations? Liberty Towers shouldn't promise services like that but give me a break your highness. Pick up the phone and make your own reservations. Better yet, how about cooking for a change? Putting greens, concierges not making dinner reservations...if these things make someone's list of criticisms, then I think the apartment complex is doing pretty well, don't you think? Liberty Towers is a great place to live and would be even better once spoiled brats (people like this are the same ones who take up two spaces in the garage and don't use the recycle bins) like this reviewer move out.

Regards renewing the lease, are the management office open to negotiation or do they slap a set increase onto renewals?
