Office staff:
The office staff/management is horrible. Work orders or complaints take an average of 4 calls and 2 months to be fixed. I believe, this is due to the laziness and incompetence of the office staff, rather than maintenance. Except for one single person, the office staff is rude, disrespectful, and unwilling to communicate effectively. When we signed the contract, the staff conveniently "failed" to inform us about the construction of a new building right next to us. 5 days after we moved in, an unbelievable noise began every day from 7am until 4pm for 3 months. They also failed to inform us that the pool was closed from September till the end of May.

Maintenance, concierge, and other staff:
Except for the office staff, everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. People are going out of their way to help as often as possible. They are warm-hearted and always have a smile and a "hello" on their lips.

Apartments:
Many of the apartments are beautiful (we were lucky). Huge windows allow you too look all over the city, the Hudson, or Jersey. The rooms are spacious, cleverly divided, and well lit. Appliances work very well (except for the dryer) and the hardwood floor projects a warm feeling onto the white walls. The windows and/or heaters are not wind-proof so that the apartment is either way too cold or too hot, and definitely noisy. The walls are a bit thin but with quiet neighbors you will be fine.

Safety issues like exposed wiring on the hallways and malfunctioning fire detectors don't put you at ease.

Overall though, the apartments are beautiful, residents are really friendly and the waterfront is amazingly beautiful!

Is there still noise from the construction in the lot across the street? You said 3 months, has it ended?
