I've been living in this building for 2 and half years now. Can't really complain about anything more than customer service. They say they appreciate your suggestions and input...but they could really care less. For loyal occupants you'd expect some understanding and kindess, not at Marbella. The management has changed for the worse... they will change policies in a spilt second and will not inform about the matter until you feel like a second class citizen in your own building. They say only spouses and immediate family members can pick up resident's packages...but if your spouse or immediate family do not have the same last name as you...since they are living in the 1950s... they will treat you like a heretic and deny your existance. Or get this, management said "a child will not be allowed to pick up dry cleaning or packages downstairs because a child shouldn't be downstairs alone getting their parent's packages..it's dangerous and irresponsible." Obviously sir, you've never lived in NYC, nor have you ever rasied a child in NYC, this is not Kansas. It's like living in a college dorm all over again! Replace that tool of an dorm advisor with a incompetent building manager and you got yourself a room at University again. Marbella will probably turn into condos in another 3 years, so they are just looking out for themselves. Honestly I'd rather go back to insanely expensive rent in Manhattan than deal with the rude and unprofessional management with these people.
