Permanent rodent problem

I lived in Bldg 1 for 3 years. Over the years, we had two mice problems ourselves and have heard tenants on other floors complain similarly. One night, we came home and witnessed a distraught tenant trying to communicate to the concierge there was a mouse running around her apt.
As for our own rodent encounters, one mouse wandered in through the kitchen ventilation grill connecting all the apts. Another time, I heard loud rustling inside my central heat system and saw a mouse running out at 3am. It had persistently gnawed and tunneled its way in. The walls are thin enough so you can hear your neighbors' TV, coughing or even an occasional mouse in the late night.
Staff quality range from friendly to apathetic. Security staff are friendly and helpful though.
Downtown JC is now a hot place for rentals and Metropolis Twrs is riding along the wave. But unless they permanently deal with the rodent problem, I'd advise prospective tenants to look elsewhere.
