I have to say I really do love it here. I've read a lot of other ratings and as far as the water, I asked the staff before I left my deposit and they were very upfront about it, they said that it takes a wile for it to warm up and get hot due to the boilers being located on the roof, not in your apartment like some others are used too. I have lived and still work in the city and my commute takes only 15 minutes, I go into the city on the week-ends and it takes longer due to the subway and path traveling less late at night but my walk from the path station is short and safe.
It is quite and that is why I moved in, in NY you here police cars every minute or sirens from ambulances, and yes the bodega on the corner is nice but isn't it worth it to have some piece and quiet. I have yet to hear my neighbors, except for the occaasional screaming match, but for me living here for 2 months and have only been disturbed 2 times, that's not all bad.
I have to say you don't know what your missing until you've had worse- a lot worse!
mice- rodents, roaches, noise.... I don't know what your complaining about.
And if you have problems take it up with management- they were pretty upfront with me .
A very happy resident
