poor construction , lousy management, great views and convenient location

Two things in favour of the Pier Apartments are the views and the convenient location. The biggest problems are the lousy management and lousy construction work- walls are paper thin, wood work in the kitchen is flimsy, bathroom fixtures are very poor quality. Management is very slow to repsond to any complaints.It takes weeks of nagging and threatening phone calls to get any reaction out of them.The maintainence guys are stupid and inept. Make sure to double lock the door when you are inside the apartment, because they just barge in whenever. Please inspect your apartment carefully prior to moving in and make sure everything is fixed before you move in.
