I have lived at the Pier since August of 2003, and it is a good place to live. There are beautiful views and the apartments are nicely appointed. As for complaints about the heat noise, if you're going to live at the Pier, try to find an apartment that has the HVAC in the living room rather than the bedroom. Units in the back of the building are less expensive than those at the East end of the pier. The area is very quiet, and the convenience to the city can't be beat. I highly recommend living at the Pier.

So you work at the Pier then? No one has lived in this damn building since 2003 unless they work here. Jersey City has much much more to offer, even excepting properties run by Equity like Liberty Towers etc.
