I would ignore most of the comments here. I have lived in Portofino for over 4 years, actually since the building opened. It's been a great experience, and I know most people I know at the building feel the same. I've had minimal complaints about my unit, and the staff has always been very accomodating. The extras that they give you, such as a shuttle to the PATH, breakfast and coffee in the morning, BBQs and happy hours in the summer, etc. also make it a great place to live. I should note I've lived in 2 apartments here - a 2 bedroom corner unit and a 1 bedroom unit and they were both great. If you want to live on the JC waterfront, this is a great choice.
