I bought a 1 bed, 1 bath now that the building has coverted to Condos.

I can't comment on how management service was when the building were apartments, but condo owners have had no problems. My appliances on move in were almost new, sparkling clean. I thought the good service would end once I closed and moved in, but it still continues.

Yes, I'll end up replacing appliances and carpeting to more luxurious levels, but that is to be expected. otherwise, no issues.

As for the complaints about it being cold, the hardwood floors may retain cold since they are in contact with the concrete floors (which by the way mean no noise from upstairs neighbors). To solve this, get a nice area rug or get carpeting put in. Every problem has a solution if you are smart about it. I can't leave my heat on for more than 20 mins because it gets too hot.

Proximity to two path stations (Exchange Place & Newport), shopping (Shop-rite, BJ's, Pep-Boys, Newport Mall, Bed Bath & beyond) all walking distance.

Front row seats to 4th of July fireworks in NYC, outdoor swimming pool, deeded parking. Great price too. You'll end up paying more for new construction in the area for the same things.
