I lived at Portside East for two years and loved it. I had no problems with the management, and they were very accomodating when I decided to go month to month at the end of our lease. The doormen are WONDERFUL (I'm only familiar with the east tower). We suffered through the same deck repairs that other people are complaining about, but we couldn't have been more forewarned about it, and the communication was good between the front office and the tennents. Once we moved out, our deposit was returned promptly. The building is solid as a rock and we never once heard noise through the walls. The only drawbacks are the high heating bills and noisy heaters (blowers). Other than that, I'd highly recommend it.
