Just don't come here just because of Taylor Managment Company who maintain this building.
Reasons:
A/C's don't work. : When we had the heat wave in June. Almost all the apartments didn't have A/C. CH Martin store nearby should thank the Taylor Management for their fans being sold out in a couple of days.
If there's a problem, they'll act on it after 2 months and leave the job unfinished. My apartment got damaged because the management company didn't know how to operate the heating/cooling system. They tried fixed something to get the A/C working and my apartment got waterlogged with leakage from above apartment (this is true for most of the apartments in the "E" or "F" line )
They came to repair my building last week (1st week of Aug'2005) and have left the job unfinished (they replaced the tiles on the floor, but they are uneven). I think it'll be another eternity before they come back and fix it (The work they had to do in my apartment takes 6 hours, but these guys need 2 weeks to do a crappy job).
I would recommed everyone to try to find a place in Newport buildings, the rent might be a bit more, but try signing up for 1 year lease and paying only 11 months of rent.

It's true all of us had problems with the new management company (Taylor Management). But now Taylor has been fired and replaced with Wentworth Management and things are going great. I have lived in the 225 sait pauls building for 3 years now and am absolutely satisfied with the appreciation of my investment as well as the quality of living.

I agree. Unfortunately, Taylor management was a very, very bad decision. Wentworth has danced circles around Taylor and in a short time has demonstrated how a building complex should be run. I couldn't be happier.

I second being thankful for Taylor management getting the boot. Wentworth knows what they are doing.
