I bought here a few years ago because its the best set of buildings in the area. They are safe, clean, friendly, have peaceful landscaping and gated parking; there is drycleaning delivery (a must) and my building has killer views of the NYC skyline. YES there is a diverse crowd of residents given the demographics but all are professionals. Journal Square is gonna be hopping in a few years after everyone is priced out of the waterfront market and St. Johns Complex is the first to benefit. These buildings have no more problems than any other I have ever lived in while in Manhattan. St. Johns is an oasis in a soon to be gentrified part of the city. Oh, and the PATH is an even 7 minute walk and when you come back home, there is a plethora of cabbies waiting to take your $3 for the the 90 second cab ride back to the buildings.
