We just moved to this area.We had no idea about the people in apartment.

80% of people living in the apartment is depressed and shouts at silly problems.

I hardly see people in the building...but you can hear them shouting when you are inside the apartment.

We are renting the apartment. we moved to apartment in a bad condition.
The owner is very bad...They were cheated by the people who repaired the apartment so they cheated us.Most of the aprtments looks dirty and very old looking.

Looks are deceiving from outside.

Management is senseless..they say tht u cannot shift during weekneds...but we see ppl shifting - mpving in and out during weeknds.

PLEASE DONT CHOOSE THIS APARTMENT.
DEPRESSING AND GIVES U A TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE!!!

SEE newport area instead.

I don't agree that the neighborhood is horrible. It is great for transportation and restaurants of all types.

I totally do not agree with the negative comments. I have lived in 225 saint pauls as an owner for almost 3 years, not only has my investment appreciated significantly, I have also had a GREAT experience living in this area. Very convenient for NYC commute and quiet and safe apartment complex.

I totally disagree as well. I have lived here for 3 years as well. I live in a beautiful apartment that had been fully restored. And, the noise levels are some of the lowest I have EVER experience in an apartment( 225). In fact, I first thought to sell my property which has appreciated incredibly well and move to one of the new condos new the water but decided to stay because I know the walls in the new developments will be paper thin. The building has been kept incredibly well with the new management in place. Doormen are the best; at your call when needed and the area has great security. One of few condos to have a full size swimming pool, central air and well kept grounds with great access to The City from all ports!! I'll be here a while.

I looked but did not buy or rent. Yes, the apartment they showed me was outdated and in poor shape. But I think the neighborhood is OK. You can walk to Journal Square and shops that charge fair (and not tourist) prices. I've lived in the area for years and rather this than what is on the waterfront.
