I have lived here for over a year and a half now in a two story town home. I am still trying to meet my neighbors. I moved here from the suburbs. I work long hours but are home a good amount of time during the evenings. It seems like a year and a half has gone by, and I am still a stranger in my own building. There has been a change in Management. Communication is improving and efforts for the community to get together for pool parties etc., are more common.
It?s a great location and the neighborhood is quiet at night.
The park across the street, from my place, is a great place to walk your dog or just go for a stroll and take in the great views of lower Manhattan and of the Statue of Liberty. There is also a marina a block away. The Path station and ferries to NYC are within walking distances, with the Light Rail station a block away too. It?s easy to complain, we all do it, But I wanted to take my time and say, I am quite happy living here going on my second year. Prior to moving in, I did check out surrounding apartment complexes. I feel this one to be the better of the bunch.
(I am however concerned about the package situation too--I have had the # on the check in sheet differ then what I recieved, fortunitly, for me, it was in my favor. The check in sheet said I had one, when I had picked up six packages)
