So I just moved into Windsor at Liberty House and here is the good and the bad.
The Good:
1) Large apartments for the money.
2) Great location for commuting into NYC
3) Nice neighborhood with good restaurants and bars.
4) Safe neighborhood
5) Free parking for one car
6) Nice courtyard and views from interior apartments
7) Management staff is nice and tries to help
The Bad:
1) Poorly made apartments with cheap fixtures, door handles, cabinets, tile etc
2) Occasionally loud noises from the hallways (slanning doors etc)
3) Poor package pick-up system
4) Hideous decor in the hallways and entry ways to the buildings
5) Parking is impossible in Jersey City. Parking permits are like an act of god and do not ask managment office for information.
6) Garbage drop off and entrances very far distance away depending on where your apartment is.
7) Experience with getting repairs has been average at best.
8) Pool is very small
9) Gym equipment is old and junky. Cardio equipment is lacking for size of gym.
10) Move in is hard depending on which building. Very far distance from loading dock to service elevator.
11) Heating and AC unit is very loud
I would give this apartment a 3 out of 5. From what I have seen overall it is an average place and probably comparable to others in Jersey City.

I agree with most of the comments. I'm not a high maintenance person so I've been very satisfied with living here. The people who live here are for the most part nice and keep to themselves. It is pretty expensive though and the construction is on the cheap side, although pretty new and they do replace things like carpet, etc. If it weren't for the price, I'd recommend this place. Parking is indoor which is also a bonus. Neighborhood is great, but stick close to the water cause it gets much worse as your go west.
