Pros:
Nice and safe neighborhood
equidistant to both main PATH stations (Exchange Place and Grove St) (about 10 min walk),
Spacious apartments
Small Gym on premises
Parking space included in rent (don t let them trick you with the special , all apartments have it included no matter what they say)
Quiet neighborhood, no construction, not much traffic
Apartments are quiet, you don t hear your next door neighbors unless they are very loud. You can hear people in the hallway but that s true with any apartment building. One exception to this is noted below in the cons
Washer and Dryer in apt.
Cons:
The leasing office/maintenance people are by far the worst I've encountered in professional renting developments. They are just doing their job and don t seem to care to go above and beyond for anyone that I have met yet. They are always nice to you, and pleasant but they really just don t care
Maintenance requests usually take a few days to be addressed (unless it s a serious problem) and when they do they really don't fix anything. As a result you need to call them back a few days later and explain to them what they're not doing correctly.
The pilot light for the heat and hot water goes out constantly, mostly when its very windy outside. While they are somewhat prompt in coming to fix the problem (even after hours) the fact that it has happened about 7 or 8 times (I m starting to lose track now which is sad) is unacceptable for the amount of the rent.
Every time I have used the oven the smoke alarm goes off and I have to end up standing under it with a pillow fanning it until it stops.
If you live on any floor except the top one and have heavy walkers above you it can seem like they are coming through the ceiling.
NO MICROWAVES, WHAT KIND OF LUXURY APT DOES NOT HAVE A MICROWAVE INCLUDED IN RENT!!
Laminate floors designed to look like tile
Over all for $2700 a month for a 1bd with a den there are much better places, with more courtius staff, less issues, and probably cheaper.

This is funny. I have moved out of this building almost 4 years ago, and the same reviews are being written.
They didn't believe this place was as bad as it is. Sorry you have to live under these conditions. It won't get better.

I love how the staff is so quick to defend their honor by not addressing the issues but by replying negatively to all the emails posted that detail the current problems that need to be addressed. Haven't you ever heard that any feedback is better than no feedback when pertaining to a successful business. Learn from your mistakes already!
