I decided to check out this site and I am seeing mixed comments regarding Hillside. Let?s be real, all those favorable comments are being typed in by Management and their staff. Just read it out loud... it sounds like you are in a Beverly Hills condo. Don?t be fooled. I was there for 2 1/2 yrs. It is nothing close to luxury. My friends usually put the club on their car when they visited. The negative comments posted are all too true. My apartment was infested with those centipedes. They are creepy! Yes, they do provide crappy appliances unless you complain for awhile. The Management office sucks, especially that guy Eric (I think that is his name). Don?t bother escalating an issue to Eric (Manager), because he doesn?t give a damn and won?t bother to call you back. But they are very quick to raise your rent per year, by approx. $50 or so. There were a # of apartment and car theft when I was living there. I was so desperate to get out, I agreed to pay an additional $75 per month to be on a 6 month lease instead of a year lease. That way, I would have time to look for a new spot. Most complexes allow different lease terms, but you will pay for it at Hillside Garden. Look around before settling on this one. If you take it, try to see what you are getting before move in date. They will say that they can not show you, but you have the right to see the place that you will regretfully pay rent at for a full year. Good luck!!!
