I agree with the other post, for Lakewood you really couldn't find a better location, aside from the stigma of having your Driver's License and mail addressed to 08701 (Lakewood).

The only real upside to this location is the amount of space for the rent you pay. I said this place was too good to be true, and I was right. I regret the entire time I spent at Fairway Villa's.

Pro's:
- For the size of the apartment and the area (near Brick, NJ), the rent is low.
- Seperated from the other apartment complexes by a seperate entrance and a guard house.
- Surrounded by woods and a golf course.
- Close to the parkway.
- Quiet. (See Con's)

Con's
- The employees (most of them). If you can go without having to deal with the on-site employees, then this place would be GREAT! (Note to the Property Management group, find new help!)
- Pet FEES. You are charged a FEE per animal of almost $400. It is NON-REFUNDABLE!
- Rules! I understand they are trying to maintain a nicer complex (for the area), but some of the rules are just SILLY. I don't think they have updated their rule book, or advertisement material since the 1970's.
- (Lack of) Landscaping. They need to just cut the hideous bushes blocking the windows down already.
- Too quiet! There are what seems to be only a couple of active, younger people in the entire complex, the rest of the time it's a ghost town. Great place to hide from people ...
