I have the two bedroom deluxe and it is a great layout (hallway, bedroom and bathroom to the side, then living, kitchen, dining in the middle, and master suite at the end): it makes for very spacious living. The apartments are very well maintained, so they feel like brand new apartments. There are beautiful hardwood floors, except on the ground floor, where apartments are carpeted. There are only outside stairs to each unit, so think carefully before you move to the third floor: you'll be toting your heavy groceries and toddlers all the way up. As everyone else has said, the grounds are beautiful and the maintenance staff is prompt. You can have cats for 15 dollars extra a month; hardly any other apartments of this quality allow cats, so this is a great feature. The only utilities are electric and gas, and bills are low, so insulation must be adequate. If it snows in the winter, the parking lot and steps WILL be cleared very early in the morning. Very safe and friendly to both single folks and families. Everybody gets along.
Downsides: very few, but worth noting: if your neighbors didn't put area rugs down like they were supposed to ( a certain percentage of the floor has to be covered according to the lease, but they never check. This is good and bad)you'll hear everything they say. Even if they did, noise travels between floors (not side to side) more than it should. The rent has gone up by twenty dollars every year. Some people have dogs here illegally. There are weird things, like the ovens don't have windows on the doors or lights in them, so if you like to bake, this is hard (on the other hand, they are gas ovens). The lifeguard for the pool would just mysteriously not show up this summer. Seems to be better now.
And, last, management should not be posting to this site.
