WHEN WE CAME TO SEE THESE APTS EVERYTHING SEEMED GREAT---TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!!! WELL IT WAS. WE PACKED ALL OUR BELONGINGS ONLY TO GET SCREWED ON OUR MOVE IN DATE BECAUSE OF AN INSPECTION ISSUE. WELL IT WAS ALL DOWNHILL FROM THERE. OUR DRYER BURNED OUR CLOTHES, THE PLACE WAS NOT CLEANED. MY HUSBAND PULLED OUT THE OVEN AND THE FILTH THAT WAS UNDERNEATH IT WAS RIDICULOUS. THERE WAS A CELL PHONE FROM THE EARLY 90'S UNDER THERE---GOES TO SHOW YOU HOW MUCH THEY CLEAN!! THE FRIDGE WAS BROKEN ALONG WITH A DRAWER IN THE KITCHEN AND STILL IS. NO SCREEN IN THE BEDROOM AND THE PATIO DOOR DOES NOT LOCK. DID I MENTION THE ANT FARM WE ARE LIVING WITH' HOW ABOUT THE POTATO BUGS' OH WHEN THE COCKROACHES MADE THEIR APPERANCE I WAS TOLD BY MANAGEMENT THAT IT WAS BECAUSE A BUILDING WAS BEING KNOCKED DOWN AND THEY WILL GO AWAY. THEY WERE OF NO HELP AT ALL WITH ANY OF THE SITUATIONS. IF YOU WANT TO GO OUT AT NIGHT---EXPECT A NICE WALK HOME SINCE THERE IS NO PARKING AFTER A CERTAIN TIME AT NIGHT. I CAN HEAR MY NIEGHBORS ENTIRE CONVERSATIONS AS WELL AS THEIR CATS MEOWING. I WAS REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO LIVING HERE AND NOW I CANT WAIT TO GET OUT!!!

I agree that the walls are thin around here, but I'm wondering if the person who wrote this really lives here. The only building that was knocked down was a farm house across the street in the woods over a year ago (the woods were plowed under too). Management can be kind of useless, but maintenance is fab, Management will listen , but they are slackers and will not tell the maintenance guys what's wrong. If you still live here, go to the door by the gym and you'll find a box for submitting mainenance requests. You can ask for an exterminator and they can't charge you for it (it's the law). Keep a log of all of your requests; that way if they try to charge you for damage on move out, you can prove that you requested maintenance. Request a lot. I've lived here for a few years, and I've always had good luck when I've put in a request myself. I don't think they're cleaning like they used to. And the paint on the walls has been seriously thinned down. Another possible strategy: call the corporation that owns the place, Crest Property Management, and tell them that your apartment is a wreck. I think they are concerned about keeping these units in good condition.
