Sturwood Hamlet Apartments

solid value, esp. for big-dog owners From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 2/1/2005 Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2004 2 responses   I've lived in Sturwood Hamlet for several years now--overall, the place is a little run down, but it's a great bargain for pet owners (esp. those with large dogs that aren't accepted at many newer complexes at all, or with huge pet fees). The apartments are nothing special to look at, but are *quite* large for the price in this area. My apartment was freshly painted and had new carpet when I moved in (granted, both were somewhat amateurishly done, but the overall effect was clean and new). The few little repair requests I've had were addressed promptly and adequately. The office manager can be abrasive at times but is generally okay as long as you treat her with respect; the office generally stays out of your hair, which is nice. I would highly recommend Sturwood Hamlet if you have a dog and are looking for a relatively inexpensive, no-frills apartment in a safe neighborhood.
