I am a current resident and would like to comment on just one thing about this apartment complex. The Heating situation. The Heating Bill is shared here. You do have your own thermostat, but share the bill with the entire complex. I have not used my Heat since February, which was one time for a few hours. This months bill was almost 200, last months, was 180, the month before that was 140. This Heating situation is so ridiculous! I do not even use my heat, and I am paying 200 a month in Heating''' If that sounds like a fair deal to you, by all means move to this dump.
They are also starting a new policy, whereby if you own a dog, you will be charged an extra 10 dollars a month. The reason is lazy residents refuse to clean after their dogs, because they are going to hire a dog poop cleaning service. First off the property is near a river. The sidewalk that runs along that river, is covered with bird poop, from end of the sidewalk to the other. Yet the entire time I have lived here they have never made an attempt to clean it up. So now even though I clean up my dogs poop, I will be charged even more, because of those residents who are lazy.
I called for maintenance for a few issues in my apartment. He had to be one of the rudest people I have met in their staff. He came in acted like I was imposing on his life, for asking him to fix something. When I asked him a question, I received short and rude answers. What a shame that I imposed on in, by asking him to do his job.
I have lived here for some time, and am very disappointed. Vagrants hang out on the property to fish in the river. My favorite part of living here are my neighbors. Don't be fooled into thinking this is a quiet community. It is far from it. People bumping their car systems in the morning, in the night, whenever. If you like to have your windows, get used to a lot of activity outside. Loud people, arguments, drunks, you name. I never have a day of peace and quiet here. You could stop by here and take a look around. Some apartments have porches. They make the place look like the slum that it is. All the porches are covered in peoples junk, and trash. It makes the whole place look even worse than it is. The only reason I am here, like a lot of residents is they are the only one I found that accepts dogs. Living here I truly feel like I am living in the ghetto. Nothing like going out in the morning, and the front yard is littered in forties!
They have a maintenance near the apartments on the property. More like a trash building. They have a big dumpster near it, but the maintenance department puts trash behind their building, rather than in the dumpster. As of today there are 11 mattresses, assorted furniture, kitchen sinks, bags of trash. It makes the whole place look like the dump that it is. I inquired with management in regards to the matter, and nothing came of it.

I have lived in a lot of apartments, and this one is at the bottom of the list.
