don't bother looking here, you will be leaving when your lease is up. the cheapest apartment is in the basement next to the boiler/laundry room. you will hear the boiler all night & people doing their laundry. they are dark musty/moldy smelling. the "door entry system" is a door bell, you can't just buzz people in.
you are next to the train tracks.there are 2 crossing within 2 blocks, you will hear the train's horn all night long. the walls are thin. parking is better than it use to be, there are a lot of empty apartments. don't fall for the craigslist add, your "new home" will still be waiting for you next week.
maintenance, what maintenance' two of them, they spend their day sitting on the steps smoking cigarettes, or you always see them going to the office. when your toilet is backed up, it takes 2 of them, your tub drips, takes 2 of them. 2 to change a light bulb, that might be an OSHA thing. neither one wipes his feet when they come in your apartment. manager has caller id, don't call in your maintenance problems, she doesn't answer the phone. if you are lucky maintenance will be in the office, they usually are.

I wish I had this review to read before I rented an apartment here. I was fooled by the craigslist adds.There are more empty apartments now then when I moved here. My door bell doesn't work. Maintance hasn't fixed anything right yet. When i go to the office the manager gives me "the look that can kill". I only go on weekends, if at all. Alot of the people i talk to here are leaving when there leases are up. Itis the same thing, poor quality maintenance & the manager.
