I lived in Fox Meadow from September of 2002 until September of 2004. Started in an apartment, then moved to a townhouse.
The good:
1. Reasonable rental rates
2. Decent size rooms
The bad:
1. Your "neighbors"
2. The noise
3. The Crime
4. Horrible maintenance department
5. Rude staff
6. The bugs & vermin
7. Police & Fire trucks all day & night
8. Poor insulation = high gas bills
9. Misleading sample units in rental office
10. Poorly maintained units = PROBLEMS!
11. Parking issues
I had many problems when I leased my apartment, and I thought by getting a townhouse that things might improve.....WRONG! Things only got worse.
My unit leaked through the ceiling EVERY time it rained. Gutters simply needed to be cleaned, but maintenance never got to it until 9 months into my lease. By that time the ceiling was water stained, and while they cleaned the gutters, they never returned to paint over the water stains.
I was happy to leave, and just as a final kick in the a**, they charged me $35 to remove a shelf I installed over the washer/dryer that when I asked if it was necessary to remove, I was told NO!!!
