I move into fox meadows with a friend of mine in the next few days. I have been given the option of washington or gardinia. I chose the older model kitchen town home. After reading every review on the site I went into one of the townhomes and noticed right away the smell of gas. My father and I went to the stove top and every pilot was out. Which I have noticed in reviews is quite popular. Everytime I have come to the apartment to view with a family member, I have noticed newer cars on washington and there were front row parking each time. Also, it was quiet everytime I went. But then again this was always between 12 and 3 in the afternoon. I have to say that all the reviews on your site are making me nervous! If anyone can help easy my worries or give me anymore helpful advice I'd really appreciate that! I have 3 days left til move in day!
Thank you all so much!

If you have a chance to "get out of it" by all means, DO! If you can't get "out of it" DO NOT let them "stick yo" in Clover Path. It is full of "third world" people, and "section 8" brain injured people. They "stuck" me there, because I was on a "month to month" lease. I was house hunting, and have since moved out. During my few months there, my car was vandalized twice; there were also bugs in my apartment. Moreover, the section was VERY noisy. I also overheard "drug deals" occur often. Cops were there often.

Well, let me welcome you to the neighborhood.
Like most neighborhoods in the Fox Meadow price range you will find many pro's and con's. I too have read all of the reviews of the development and found many of them surprising because I have lived there for 5 years now.
The only reason I could think of there being such an imbalance of bad reviews over good reviews is the fact that people are faster to write a bad review than a good one. Most times it is to vent their frustrations and disappointments.
I feel that if you come into the place with realistic expectations you will not be disappointed. Keep in mind that when you are paying $1,200.00 or so for a townhouse, all of your neighbors are not going to be ideal. Yes there are section 8 units unfortunately it is the law that they are provided. Yes there is crime (my motorcycle was stolen). You will find that at every rental development in the price range that we are talking about.
My suggestion was is that "we" can make a difference as tenants, not only in taking care of the property as though it was our own (picking up the soda bottle or milk carton thrown on the common grounds, making management aware of any unruly or disturbing neighbors and making the police aware of any suspicious or illicit behaviors.
In closing I would like to again welcome you to the neighborhood. I wish you the very best of experiences for the duration of your lease.
