Appox 2 months ago we were showed the model apartment and liked it enough to fill out an application with a deposit. We liked the closet space and we were sold once they told us we would even have upgraded kitchen cabinets. When we had our walk thru days before our move-in date we were suprised to find a slop job done on our townhouse in prepping it for new tennets. We had the following issues so far:

- Broken Dishwasher
- Leaking roof
- Broken Garbage Disposal
- holes in worn down window screens
- 2 broken door knobs
- stained carpet
- no upgrade in kitchen cabinets
- old chandeler left in the kitchen
- and a few other minor items

I'm a very reasonable person and I never write reviews and wouldn't have for Maplewood had they responded to our issues in a timely manner. However we've been here a month now and our issues still havn't been fixed and I'm living with a trash can in the hallway upstairs catching rainwater. We had to repeatedly make follow-up calls to check on the status. They made numerous promise dates on when this would be comepleted and numerous excuses when those days come and go.

I made my last warning today that if the items aren't fixed today...I would contact the BBB. I just don't see why this was so difficult. I really wanted to like Maplewood and I really tried but it's been so inconvienient and such a headache that I would never reccomend an apartment here to anyone. This is my 7th rental property I've lived in and would have to say is the only one i've had issues with so I'd have to say if by far the worst and wasn't all that cheap at $1200 a month.
