You know, when I first moved here 4 years ago, it was not in the best shape. The windows were old and drafty, the grounds were not kept up with, and the front doors looked like hell. But ever since the new company took over, this property turned around for the better.
In the begining it was so frustrating with construction workers and contractors coming in and out fixing everything up, but man I'll tell you, it looks 100 times better. I got brand new windows, new heating/air condition system,my choice of cable company, and the gym is beautiful! Not to mention that everytime I have to call the office, thay are so nice to me and realy try to help me.

I live in an un-renovated townhouse and have been here since April 2004. Just for your information they have stopped renovations and are currently offering new tenants a choice of renovated or unrenovated units. All the units had new windows installed. The parking hasn't changed but the management has. Nobody has ever entered my home without first notifying me. It sounds as if you are happier where you are now, I wish you years of good luck. By the way, I'm not management, just a tenant who appreciates the improvements that have been made and nobody ever tried to make me move.

So you have ACTUALLY lived there since 2004? Then tell me, what did you do when they were renovating your apartment? Did you just not come home for 2 months as they painted, replaced the kitchen, replaced the carpets, replaced all of the interior doors, replaced the bathrooms, etc. This is a true BS comment. How do I know? Because the management staff told me personally that they were trying to get rid of anyone that had been living there and wanted them to move out so they could renovate their apartment and get more money for it. When I tried moving in, they delayed my move in for 2 months because my place wasn't "ready" yet due to the construction crew taking months to renovate where I was moving into. So unless you moved from one unit to another your are full of doggy poo poo. And then after only 1 year there they drastically raised the rent.
All I can say is have fun paying rent that is more than my new mortgage for a smaller place to live all while giving full access to any stranger they want to walk into your home and hoping you can find a parking spot where your car doesnt get scratched.
I can't wait for the next person from management to post another bogus story.

Why is it, when someone is actually happy in there apartment, they have to be from management. Just because you had a bad experience, doesn't mean everyone does. As far as the management telling you personally that they were trying to get rid of everyone, I think that is BS. I really can't see a management company telling a resident that. And if that is true, I bet that person doesn't work there anymore. I personally transfered to a renovated apartment and love it. You may be paying for a mortgage, but you also pay for water, sewage, gas, electric, taxes, and when your appliances break, you will have to pay for it to get fixed or buy a new one. You can try to say but u own it, but by the time you pay it off you will probably sell it and be back into an apartment. Sometimes you just have to put up with some s**t to get something nice. Just like if you hired some contractors to fix up your home. You would have the contractors (strangers) coming in and out of your house, and your house being turned upside down to get it to look nice. Oh, and buy the way, if you own a home, why do you even go on here? Why do you even care about apartments?
