Maybe you actually have valid grievances w/ Robert's Mill, though none were apparent in your ramblings here. It would seem YOU aren't so hardworking and honest! You complain that you were charged a late fee because you paid your rent late - ha - what did you expect! It's customary in any lease to charge a late fee if rent is paid late. If you read your lease this should be no surprise. When you work you expect to be paid on time, right' Well, when someone does their job, in this case rents you space to live, they expect to be paid on time, and if not, there's a penalty to be paid, same as on credit cards. The type of letters you describe receiving are typical of what to expect when you are late and severely late.
NJ law allows for 1.5 month's rent to be held as security deposit, though Robert's Mill charges less. You paid a month's rent as security deposit and the first month in advance - that is customary in apartment renting. I have no idea what you are talking about when you say you were charged two month's rent after you moved. Did you break your lease and leave early, or did you cause damage or destruction to the property, or maybe you just failed to pay the last two months''' Whatever the case, YOU need to get things straight and learn how life works before leaving denegrating comments about others.
