I've been here for 3 years and have very few negative things to say. The parking is ample, although I wish it were better lit I have never felt unsafe.

There is a wawa/chineese food/dominoes/salon/& sub place right next door to the complex.

The maintenance team is exceptional. They come same day about 95% of the time and fix things cleanly and quickly. I never worry about my belongings when they're there. I've also called about external issues (bushes were blocking part of the view from exiting the complex) and that was also fixed the same day. The office staff is always pleasant and willing to answer any questions you may have.

Snow removal - they usually wait until it stops snowing to plow/shovel, which can sometimes get frustrating, but I am usually ok with that. I just worry about elderly couples in the complex if they needed to leave for some reason.

When I moved into my 1st floor apartment, I could hear a lot of noise from my upstairs neighbors, however, they've since re-done the flooring and it's better. I still hear them walking around or when they drop something, but it's an apartment complex...how soundproof can I expect it to be' I've never heard anything from the neighbors on either side of me.

I did not get the washer/dryer in my apartment and have to walk outside to another building to get to the laundry room, so I wish there was one closer.

I am permitted to have my cats. I have an updated kitchen which is very nice.

I feel 100% safe here. I leave my window open on nice nights and even days while I'm at work and have never been nervous about a break in.

There are 2 tennis courts, a pool, and a fitness center. The courts are sometimes very busy, but what do you expect when it's nice out! The pool is great...plenty of chairs. The fitness center is small, but it does the job.

I feel the size and storage space in the 1 bedroom junior are very good for one person, however, I think it might be a tighter squeeze for a married couple.

I have a great patio where I bbq on nice days and all of my neighbors are friendly and helpful. The complex doesn't really have many children and stays fairly quiet (except for the occasional gathering since there's a lot of singles here).

The area is sometimes congested due to the Marlton Circle, but hopefully after they get rid of it, the volume will dissipate. I do have a friend who's apartment backs up to Maple Avenue and she says the traffic noise can get pretty loud. If possible, rent further into the complex.

Overall I have really loved it here and would HIGHLY recommend Allison apartments to anyone who is looking to rent in this area.

The reason why they really don't have children is because they don't allow children which is discrimination! I walk into this apartment complex and ask if she had any two bedroom apartments available, she said yes she had one coming up in July, well she gave me an application and I filled it out handed it to her and she look it over and said wait we do not allow children and I said why she said the owner of the complex is an older gentlemen and that this is his rules... well I said that is discrimination, she said well that's our policy. and I was very disappointed because I am a single mother who works very hard and it is very difficult to fine a apartment with low rent that I can afford. I don't want to move out of the area because I don't want to take my children out of school they started school here in kindergarten. I did some research and found that the Civil Rights New Jersey Law State Against Discrimination, N.J.S.A.10:5-1 to-49 makes it unlawful to Discriminate in the sale or rental on housing based on a person's race, creed, color, national origin, ancestry, nationality, affectional or sexual orientation, disability, gender, marital status, or familial status(whether you have a "CHILD", a parent-child relationship with a minor, or you are pregnant! So if anyone reading this feels you have been denied housing or treated differently for one of the reasons listed above, you should contact the Division on Civil Rights at (609)984-3138 I sure did!
