Couldn't be happier

My husband and I couldn't be happier living at Allison apartments. Before we chose these apartments to be our new home, we picked up several apartment guide books in the area. There were several amenities that we had to have in our new home (washer/dryer, pets permitted, reasonable prices, large units, etc). We knew that we were asking a lot until we found Allison. The units have everything that we were looking for and if you are not lucky enough to find one with a washer/dryer in the unit, they do have laundry facilities at the end of every building. The apartments have lots of storage and walk-in closets. If you need more space they have extra storage units on site. We just finished putting all of our Christmas stuff in there until we need it next year. The complex is quiet. There are a lot of elderly people living here. I never feel unsafe coming home at night and I am never without a good parking space. I really have no complaints and if I did I would be the first one to post it for everyone to see. I have heard that families with children are not welcome in the complex. I don't have an answer to this. My husband and I do not have children yet so it wasn't a problem that we encountered. The rent is very reasonable. We have a 2 bedroom unit and pay $1055 per month and that includes water and heat. We are responsible for the PSEG bill every month and that's it. They do have models to view and will let you tour a vacated unit if any are available. I know that finding a new place can be very challenging and intimidating at times, so, if you have any questions feel free to post a comment and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Correction: They do not have laundry facilities at the end of every building. They have two in the entire complex. They had three and closed down one to make a senior center. They are generally over crowded and if one is full you have to walk to the other end of the complex for the other. Also, some of the dryers, namely in room #1, barley dry your clothes. As opposed to the dryers in the room they closed. Trust me, I am one of the ones not lucky enough to find one with a washer/dryer and talked to the rental manager about the laundry facilities.
